“True form of the great Yin: the lunar disk”
The true form of the Moon shown here is copied from what is printed in Dutch books. When the markings on the Moon are observed with a Western instrument, a telescope called terescōbiyun [telescope], their whole form appears like a map of the Earth. The dark parts are mountains, and the silvery parts are seas and rivers. It is truly, without doubt, a great world.
